So this was a super quick one that I’d kept in my pocket for such an occasion. When cleaning and decluttering a few weeks ago I found a load of long candles that we no longer had a holder for. So, in order to cut waste and reuse them, I decided to make one big candle. A glass jar found in a sale at a homeware shop, a bag of wicks from a craft shop, and about 45 patient minutes melting them down later, I had my new candle!

Now I’m aware this all sounds like a very self-satisfied lifestyle blog, but I think it should be clear by now that’s not really me. I’m quite pleased making my own candle was genuinely so easy, but other than maybe using the last bits of candles, I can’t see me doing it again.
